Yellowstone Lower Loop

We drove the lower loop of Yellowstone today. This is the first live bison I have ever seen. It was just walking down the road minding it's own business.

The family in front of one of the millions of geysers in Yellowstone. It was kinda chilly this morning. They said it can snow any month of the year here. Crazy!

Daddy lugging me around on his back. I absolutely love my backpack. Can't you tell?

We went to the Old Faithful Inn to have lunch. It is the largest log hotel in the world. It was beautiful. Daddy and Kaelly had fun running up and down the steps.

Daddy and me time on the balcony of the Inn overlooking Old Faithful. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. All you have to do is see us together to know how much we love each other!

Old Faithful. It was cool, but not nearly the coolest thing in the park!

The hole gang. There was a beautiful waterfall in the background, but the guy that took the pic for us didn't get it in the shot.

This next picture has a story. If you look closely, there are two WILD grizzly bears in the back shadow. There were a lot of people standing a SAFE distance back taking pictures and admiring these magnificent creatures. But not Pappy! He grabbed the camera from Cheesy and off he went. He went all the way to the far side of the cluster of trees to get a better picture! Oh, and did I mention Pappy has MS and walks with a cane?! We were all telling him he was crazy, but Pappy is very hard headed. I can't wait to get the pics from their camera to see how the grizzlies look up close!

Tyler entertaining me as Mommy takes her turn carrying me around.

Mommy and me at the Lower Falls

This elk was relaxing in a field, but so many people were going down to it to take it's picture (Pappy included) that it got up and walked across the road. Daddy, Pappy, and Tyler were in the silver car. Poor Mr. Elk can't get any peace!
